IIS E-PORTFOLIO FINAL PROJECT

This project is required and though it seems like work it can actually boost your grade signiifcantly. All you have to do is follow the guidlines and be crerative!

It is due completed by Sunday June 1st

CLASS BONUS: If I have everyone's work turned in on time I will consider using a larger portion of this project --as much as 10%-- as part of the final exam grade

Guidelines and examples as shared in class:

A general note:

Try to make your site personal. Use "reflective" language e.g.: "I think that..." or "I feel that..." Talk about what you've learned in the subject, why it's imprtant and what you'd like to learnn more about in connection it...

Requirements and examples:

To do this you may use either webpages you've put together or a blogging agent. "Blogger" available free and easily through GoogleApps is recommended.

Your portfolio must include:

A heading or page for each of your core subjects:

  • English, Literature, Writing etc.
  • Math
  • Science
  • Social Sciences History, Economics etc.

AND at least 3 additional subjects for example:

  • IT/C Class
  • Langauge Chinese, Korean, Russian or Spanish
  • PE
  • Art
It would also be nice if you could include some thing about school life your your social life here other activities of interest, Sports, student government, Drama, MUN , the Insider Magazine work etc....

Each page must include a graphic --a picture and some samples and descriptions of what you have done and learned in class in the this 2007-8 school year.

Examples for IT class, essentially b
rief descriptions of things we've studied with some illustrations --either a screen shot, graphic or link to further explain the element:

  • things we've learned about; online work search engines, graphics, Google Apps, Edline Use, Wiki's etc., html web design, video desktop publishing etc
Additional content:
  • Typing tests and speed over one year:
  • Screen shots of logs
If you still don't understand what it is you're supposed to do then please see me for further help --don't put it off until the last minute or do nothing and hope it will go away!
